The YMCA is offering a FREE course for Grade 12 students, or anyone interested in working with Children.
The Responsible Adult Course is offered online and qualifies you for a career in:
o Occasional Licensed Child Care
o School Age Licensed Group Child Care
o Substitute for ECE Assistants (for less than 30 days) in a licensed group childcare center or preschool.

The Mount Elizabeth Cafeteria last day of operation will be Thursday, June 15.

I’ve been fortunate enough to do what I love for over twenty-two years, and I want to thank everyone for their overwhelming support. It has been an absolute joy sharing my love for cooking with the students and staff at MEMSS, and it’s been a privilege to have been a part of our school community for so many years. I have some exciting news to share. Mena Klonarakis will be taking over the business this fall, and I couldn’t be happier for her. Mena is a fantastic cook with years of experience, having served the staff and students at MEMSS for thirteen years. She has a wealth of knowledge and some awesome recipes she’ll be sharing with everyone. I’m excited about what’s to come and can’t wait to see how the cafeteria transforms under her leadership. Be sure to keep an eye out for updates and all of the fantastic things that she has in store. Thank you all again for the wonderful years.
