GRAD PARENTS UPDATE: Our first fundraiser – PURDY’S – will be distributed to your Grad at the end of next week. Each grad will receive an envelope with an information letter and catalogues. Please ensure that you check out the information and that your Grad participates in this fundraiser. We are still looking for a parent to take on Dry Grad Decorating and Fundraising. These are Board positions which mean a few more meetings, but if we do not have a parent in place for Dry Grad, planning will not commence. Our next Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 4th at 7:00pm in the school staffroom. ALL parents are invited to attend and be part of our planning.

To all 2016 Grad Parents,

Thanks to all the grads that were able to make it out Sunday for the car wash! They raised $1001 to donate to ACT. A huge thank you to Bev Shaw for acting as parent and teacher rep as well as the other parents that came out to support their grads. The first grad parent meeting was held last Wednesday and there was a great turnout. Many positions were filled, but we still need some more parents to volunteer for the following commitee chairs:

• Dry grad decorations
• Fundraising chair
• Event clean up

There will be another meeting for all parents on Wednesday, October 21 from 7:00-8:00 in MEMSS staffroom. And then from 8:00-9:00 for the commitee chairs.
