Our Post Secondary Night will be in December.  We will post the date as soon as we get it!

“Closed Campus” policy for Mount Elizabeth Middle School for the 2014-2015 school year.  This means that during the lunch break M.E.M.S students must remain on the school property for the lunch break.  Our goal is to maximize student safety and ensure effective communication between the school and the home.  Please click the following link to continue reading the rest of the letter and to access the permission slip Permission To Go Home For Lunch .Middle school students can also pick up a permission slip in the office.

It is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Ms. Nancy Tormene to the position of Principal, Mount Elizabeth Middle Secondary School.  A lifelong Kitimat resident, Nancy holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Victoria in Elementary Curriculum and a Master of Education degree from the University of British Columbia in Curriculum and Instruction.

 Ms. Tormene is highly regarded by her colleagues as a master teacher and her work in schools has always been characterized by an emphasis on putting kids first, teamwork and building positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the community.

Mount Elizabeth Middle Secondary School is a much beloved and integral part of the community of Kitimat and Coast Mountains School District is most fortunate to have an educator of Nancy’s calibre ready and willing to assume the leadership role at this great school.
