These scholarships are sponsored largely by people, organizations, and businesses in our local area. Each year about $40,000.00 is given away to graduates of M.E.M.S.S. who are pursuing post-secondary education. Grads. will fill out the scholarship application that can be found in the middle of the scholarship booklet that is made available to the grads in late April. The scholarship booklets will be communicated thoroughly in the school and through the web site around this time. Students have about two weeks to complete and hand in the applications to Ms. Johnson. Shortly afterwards a committee of representatives of the donors and teaching staff will meet to allocate scholarships to deserving individuals. These individuals will be awarded the scholarships at the “ Scholarship Awards” ceremony in June.
