Message from Kathy: Hello Everyone!
We are getting closer and closer and the events are beginning this weekend June 6, with the Scavenger Hunt and BBQ. This year, it will be held at MESS. Please remember that if you are a parent driver for the Scavenger Hunt, you need to have completed a Driver’s Abstract. This can be done by calling in to ICBC and it is all done by telephone, just have your driver’s license available. They will fax it directly to the school for you. Banquet, June 12. If you still need to pick up your tickets, you can stop by Old Wing where the parents are working hard to complete all the decorations. Ask to speak with Fern Fontes between 7:30 and 8:30 Monday – Thursday. She also has the sign up sheets there and we are relying on everyone volunteering for a position. There are A LOT of positions to be filled as there is a lot of work to do over the next three weeks. Thank you so much to all the parents that came out last week for the short meeting and ticket pick up. It was great to see parents sign up for the various events. We are still in need of A LOT of help to prepare the banquet. Please make plans to help out at MESS gym Wednesday, June 10 3pm – midnight and Thursday 8am – midnight. You do not have to commit to those hours, but any time that you can offer within those designated hours would be great!!! I apologize now for the numerous emails that will likely come out over the next couple of weeks but please stay in touch so that we can make this a memorable event for all the kids

Message from Scavenger Hunt co-ordinator: Hi everyone I need some help for next weeks grad bbq. Looking for help organizing some relay race games, filling up water balloons etc.
I also Need food prep people. We are doing a salad bar so everyone can build their own salads at the bbq. We were hoping that parents could donate the salad bar items, I have a list which I will attach with the items I am looking for. So please contact me with what you can bring or help with and I start coordinating.
