UPDATE

As we continue to respond to the incident that occurred in our community over the weekend, we have activated our multidisciplinary violence threat risk assessment process that involves police and other key community partners. We are also in contact with our provincial student safety experts, and  have been provided with valuable guidance as we ensure the emotional health, safety and well-being of all students and staff at our school.

Police have concluded that there is no risk to our school based on the threat but due to privacy considerations, we are obligated to ensure confidentiality with respect to specific information about the investigation.

Again, I want to assure you that all students and staff are safe. We take every precaution to ensure the safety of your child and our staff members.
