Meet the teacher night is on Wednesday, September 20th @ 7 pm.  Please meet in the Mount Elizabeth Theatre. Parents will rotate through their child’s timetable.  If you do not have your child’s timetable one will be provided for you.  We look forward to seeing you!

Just a reminder that the grade 9 immunization forms are due into the school office by Wednesday, September 20th.

Orange Shirt Day is a legacy of the St. Joseph Mission (SJM) residential school commemoration event held in Williams Lake, BC, Canada, in the spring of 2013.  It grew out of Phyllis’ story of having her shiny new orange shirt taken away on her first day of school at the Mission, and it has become an opportunity to keep the discussion on all aspects of residential schools happening annually.

Orange Shirt Day is also an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come.

It is traditional to encourage the wearing of an orange item of clothing on that day as a symbol.  We also have t-shirts available to help celebrate this event. If you are interested in purchasing one please see Mrs. Tse in the office. The price for the t-shirts is $15.00.
