To all grad Parents,

I wanted to let you know that plans and preparations are under way for Meningitis Vaccine clinics to be available for grads. There will be an information session sometime next week to learn more and ask any questions you may have: date to be announced. Students will be bringing home information about the vaccine and its cost. As soon as I have dates and times, I will post them, I will also let you know when the packages have gone out to students.

We would like to inform all parents and guardians that Mount Elizabeth Middle Secondary will be utilizing an automatic call out system to contact home when your son/daughter is absent. The system will send an automatic call informing you of your child’s absence, it will indicate what class period(s) were missed and remind you to send a note excusing your child’s absence upon their return to school. These calls will commence after 6:00pm each school day as of Monday, April 4^th, 2016.

Student attendance is directly related to student academic success.

It is our intent that this system will enhance communication between the school and our parent community as we all work together to promote student success.
