MEMSS Surveillance System

Mount Elizabeth Middle Secondary has installed a new surveillance system.   There are a total of 19 video cameras positioned around the facility, both inside and outside of the building.  These cameras are motion activated and are active 24 hours a day.

The purpose of this system is to further enhance the safety and security of all of our students and staff.

The cameras are only installed in public areas.  There are no cameras installed in instructional spaces, washroom areas or change rooms.  The images that are captured are recorded on a DVR system and can be accessed if needed to investigate an incident.  The installation and use of this system fully meets School District Policy.

If you have any questions regarding the surveillance system, please contact the school.
